I am studying Early Childhood through Elementary education at Western Oregon University. As soon as I am done with my Bachelors of Science I will go on to obtain my Masters in Specialized Education. I then plan to work on my Autism endorsement while I work. Previously I attended Chemeketa Community College while becoming a Expanded Functions Dental assistant.
Experience
I have worked in Special Education at the Elementary, Middle and High school level. In the Central School District for 5 years. Three years full time and 2 years subbing while in college. I would like to be a tutor to gain experience working with children at varying levels of education. I want to be a tutor to help pay for my college at WOU. I have worked as the Site director for the YMCA at Independence Elementary School for 5 months.

Hobbies
I am 32 and have lived in the Independence area for 8 years. I have three children who are ages 13, 11, and 8. As a family we like to camp with our two dogs all over Oregon. I like to draw, paint and enjoy experimenting with new forms of art. Clay sculpting is one of my very favorite things to do. I played the violin for 6 years and traveled to Germany with my symphony to perform.
